We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Warehouse and Facilities Manager Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Warehouse and Facilities Manager will oversee the physical throughput, space utilization, and infrastructure across our warehouse sites and office facilities. The Manager will be responsible for physical storage mechanics, material handling efficiency, warehouse workflow optimization, and building/equipment uptime. Key Responsibilities: Physical Warehouse Operations & Layout Optimization: Optimize floor layouts, racking systems, and storage configurations to maximize cubic utilization, dock throughput, and traffic flow. Oversee inbound dock operations, stage management, outbound dispatch physical readiness, and general material handling workflows. Manage material handling equipment (MHE)—including forklifts, reach trucks, and automation systems—ensuring proper utilization, maintenance schedules, and operator allocation. Ensure physical warehouse workflows align with software directives (dock-to-rack transit, picking routes, and dispatch staging). Facilities Maintenance & Asset Upkeep: Coordinate workspace arrangements, internal office moves, lease compliance, and utility usage/energy efficiency projects across all company properties. Source, negotiate, and oversee third-party facility service contracts (janitorial, security, waste management, pest control, structural repairs). Direct routine maintenance programs for all building systems (HVAC, dock levellers, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and roofing)Track facility assets, direct equipment overhauls, and manage replacement lifecycles to maintain maximum operational uptime. Requirements: Strong working knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems, industrial docking equipment, and property maintenance. MBA or relevant certifications is an advantage. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field. 5–7+ years experience: in managing warehouse physical space and building facilities/infrastructure especially in FMCG with at least 3years in managerial capacity Demonstrated track record of negotiating and managing third-party vendor SLAs and facility maintenance contracts.
