The Manager will report directly to the Farm Directors. We are lookng for an experienced Farm Manager to oversee daily farm operations, staff, stock, sales, cash, records, and general farm efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the Farm Clerk and verify receipt books, registers, and daily records. Conduct surprise checks and enforce farm rules and procedures. Ensure all sales, payments, waste, disposals, and stock movements are properly documented. Address minor staff issues and escalate serious matters to the Directors. Assign duties and monitor staff attendance, conduct, and performance. Review and sign off daily records and report discrepancies to the Directors. Supervise daily farm operations, including poultry, feed/store, drugs, greenhouse, and other activities. Reconcile sales, receipts, stock movement, and cash with the Clerk daily. Monitor all stock entering and leaving the farm and maintain accurate records. Ensure farm equipment, facilities, and livestock are properly maintained. Monitor feeding, production, harvesting, cleaning, maintenance, and livestock care. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies, losses, or wastage. Daily Closing: Before the farm is locked, ensure: Cash and receipts are reconciled. Daily records are reviewed and signed. Waste or losses are documented. Stock movements are recorded. All sales are receipted. The Clerk’s records are complete. Requirements: Good communication and reporting skills. Strong supervisory and organizational skills. Basic computer literacy is an advantage. Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively. Knowledge of poultry, livestock, or crop production is an advantage. High integrity and accountability. Ability to maintain accurate records and work with basic figures. Experience: managing a farm, agricultural operation, warehouse, or similar environment. Salary and Benefits: Accomodation is available. N200,000/month after successful completion. N180,000 / month during the 3-month probation period.
