We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Painter Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Apply paints, putty, and specialized coatings with precision, including spray painting across surfaces such as walls, wood, metal, doors, windows, and ceilings. Carry out surface preparation and finishing techniques, including POP works, screeding, and gloss applications to achieve high-quality results. Inspect and assess surfaces to determine appropriate preparation methods, including removal of mold, stains, and repair of damaged areas. Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures with appropriate materials such as nylon sheets and masking tape. Demonstrate strong communication, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and safety awareness in all assigned tasks. Prepare surfaces for painting by filling cracks and holes, sanding, and applying primers and sealers to ensure optimal finish and durability. Execute interior and exterior painting works, including façade applications, using ladders and scaffolding where required. Relevant work experience: / Qualification Ability to mix and apply several types of paint, including Oil paint, Emulsion Paint, Enamel Paint, Bituminous Paint, Aluminum Paint, Anti-Corrosive Paint, Synthetic Rubber Paint, Cement Paint, etc. NABTEB / Trade Test qualification in Carpentry or a related field. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 3 - 6 years of proven experience: as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
