We are recruiting to fill the position below Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cash-flow management, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision-making. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead and head our Finance Department. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Work closely with other departments to ensure proper financial planning and accountability. Ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of the company’s financial information. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Establish, maintain and strengthen financial controls and accounting processes. Ensure proper documentation and accurate recording of all financial transactions. Supervise, mentor and develop members of the Finance Department. Identify financial risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for cost optimization. Monitor cash flow and ensure effective management of the company’s financial resources. Lead and manage the Finance Department and provide effective direction to the finance team. Oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables, cash management and reconciliations. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial plans. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting and regulatory requirements. Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor balances, customer accounts and other financial reconciliations. Provide management with financial analysis, insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Requirements: Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with significant experience: in a finance/accounting leadership role. Experience: managing and developing a finance team. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and operate effectively in a fast-paced business environment. High level of integrity, attention to detail and accountability. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, taxation and financial controls. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
