Key Responsibilities: Provide technical input into maintenance strategies, shutdowns, turnarounds, and modification projects. Provide engineering support for static and rotating equipment in oil & gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer facilities. Develop and review equipment specifications, technical requisitions, datasheets, and vendor documentation. Review vendor drawings, calculations, manuals, and technical documentation Ensure equipment designs and maintenance activities comply with applicable API, ASME, ISO, and industry standards. Review and interpret P&IDs, Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS), equipment datasheets, specifications, and engineering drawings. Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Process, and Project teams to resolve equipment-related issues. Perform technical assessment, troubleshooting, and reliability analysis of pumps, compressors, exchangers, pressure vessels, and related equipment. Key Equipment Exposure The successful candidate must have practical experience: working with: Rotating Equipment: Mechanical seals and associated auxiliaries Centrifugal and positive displacement pumps Rotating equipment alignment and troubleshooting Compressors Drivers, couplings, bearings, and lubrication systems Static Equipment: Storage tanks Valves and mechanical equipment Heat exchangers Pressure vessels Piping and associated static components Required Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant API and ASME standards. Knowledge of equipment inspection, maintenance, reliability, and troubleshooting. Good understanding of equipment datasheets and mechanical specifications. Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs and Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS). Understanding of mechanical integrity and equipment reliability principles. Ability to review engineering drawings, vendor documents, and technical reports. Mandatory Requirements: Experience: working in plant operations, maintenance, projects, commissioning, or turnaround environments. Proven hands-on experience: with pumps and compressors.
