We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Senior Procurement Service Advisor Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Reports to: Asst. Manager, Supply Chain Overall Purpose of Job Providing procurement advisory support with little or no supervision in the Upstream Sector of the Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry Responsibilities: Maintain high degree of confidentiality of company documents. Validating purchase order documents. Processing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) received on assigned accounts. Provide follow-up to customers on outstanding receivables. Managing suppliers of materials. Executing the following with little or no supervision and having the ability to bring a new entrant up to speed; Ensure effective documentation of documents relating to each transaction. Ensure reports on accounts are produced and disseminated as and when due. Processing and managing Request for Quotations (RFQs) and electronic Request for X (RFX) processing and management. Follow up on all submitted RFQs. Assist to ensure effective management of logistics on all orders. Error-free computation of cost (Ex-works and Delivered Duty Paid, DDP) of goods on MS Excel. Maintain comprehensive filing system; soft and hard copies. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders on all RFQs and purchase orders (POs). Obtaining quotes from suppliers. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Communication and Reporting Effective use of SAP MM Module Timeliness and Accuracy of PO spreadsheet Reduction in Ineffective RFQs across accounts Effective back-up for Glass-fibre Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) Sourcing and Processing Industry Knowledge and Perspicacity Improve Service Delivery Within Supply Chain Improved Conversion Leadership Improve Delivery Performance to 60% Person Specifications / Competencies Proven experience: handling RFQs, RFXs and POs for major IOCs such as Total Energies, Esso and Chevron. Good knowledge of logistics management Strong international sourcing experience, including the use of online bidding and sourcing platforms. Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with OEMs, manufacturers and vendors. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate quotations and negotiate competitive terms. Strong understanding of upstream Oil & Gas procurement and supply chain processes, cycles and documentation. Ability to interpret technical descriptions and specifications for pipes, valves, fittings, chemicals, tools and other Oil & Gas materials. Minimum qualification – BSc / HND Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple RFQs, POs and priorities simultaneously. Strong sourcing, negotiation and analytical skills. Very good grasp of Supply Chain Process in Upstream Oil and Gas At least five years cognate experience. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Good supplier management and order-expediting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Supply Chain SAP Module knowledge is an added advantage.
