We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Corporate / Enterprise Risk Management Coordinator Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Full-time Key Deliverables The Corporate / Enterprise Risk Management Coordinator ensures that strategic, operational, financial, commercial, project, technical, regulatory, compliance, security, reputational and sustainability-related risks are systematically identified, assessed, managed, monitored and reported. The role supports the Executive Management and functional leaders in understanding the company’s overall risk exposure and making risk-informed decisions. The Corporate / Enterprise Risk Management Coordinator coordinates enterprise-wide risk assessments, maintains the corporate risk register, facilitates risk workshops, monitors risk treatment plans and provides timely risk intelligence to relevant governance and decision-making bodies. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborates with internal stakeholders including Information Security, IT, Compliance, Finance, Business Continuity, Facilities, and Internal Audit to support risk management Monitor risks associated with engineering capacity, project execution, fabrication yards, construction activities, logistics and marine operations. Coordinate the development, implementation and periodic review of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management framework. Ensure that the ERM framework is appropriate for the company’s EPCIC business model, organisational structure, strategic objectives and operating environment. Integrate enterprise risk management into the company’s strategic and annual business-planning processes. Prepare risk reports, dashboards, presentation materials and decision papers for Executive Management and functional leaders. Develop and maintain the company’s enterprise risk classification and Risk Breakdown Structure. Review strategic assumptions to identify uncertainties that could affect business objectives Define criteria for escalating project risks to Executive Management and the corporate risk register. Support Executive Management and Leaders in developing and periodically reviewing the company’s risk appetite statement. Coordinate with project risk coordinators, project controls teams and project directors to obtain timely project risk information. Analyzes insurance claims, policy coverage, loss trends, and renewal information to identify exposures and recommend improvements to coverage or reporting practices. Reviews contractual provisions for risk considerations, identifies unusual terms or potential concerns, and coordinates resolution with business owners and stakeholders. Ensure that high-value or high-risk bids are subjected to formal risk assessment before submission. Review information from business plans, project reports, audits, market studies, tender reviews, regulatory updates, incident reports and performance reports to identify emerging risks. Support the development and operation of the company’s risk governance structure. Identify single-source dependencies and critical supply bottlenecks. Establish minimum enterprise risk management requirements: for EPCIC projects. Coordinate periodic enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment exercises. Assess supply-chain risks relating to critical vendors, materials, specialist services and equipment. Coordinate qualitative and, where appropriate, quantitative assessment of enterprise risks Review major project risk registers to identify risks requiring enterprise-level escalation. Develop, maintain and administer the company’s enterprise risk register. Coordinate activities of the Management Risk Committee and other risk-related governance forums. Work with business functions to develop risk limits that are measurable and relevant to their activities Support risk reviews for significant tenders, contracts and commercial commitments. Monitor the company’s aggregated exposure across its portfolio of EPCIC projects Develop and maintain enterprise risk management policies, procedures, guidelines, methodologies, templates and reporting standards. Coordinates and independently manages assigned vendor onboarding activities, evaluates risk assessment results, resolves outstanding issues with business units, and recommends appropriate risk ratings. Coordinate strategic risk assessments before the approval of corporate strategies, budgets and major business initiatives. Establish a consistent enterprise-wide approach for identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating, monitoring and reporting risks and opportunities. Coordinate assessments of risks affecting the company’s core operational processes. Facilitate structured risk workshops with Executive Management, functional heads, project directors and other key stakeholders. Translate the approved risk appetite into practical risk tolerance limits and escalation thresholds. Identify major internal and external risks that could affect the achievement of corporate objectives. Job Requirements: & Qualifications Experience: facilitating risk workshops involving executive and senior management personnel. Minimum B.Sc. degree in project management discipline or relevant discipline, MBA /Masters in applicable degree will be added advantage. Certification in Enterprise Risk Management Practical experience: developing risk appetite statements, tolerance limits and key risk indicators. Demonstrable experience: coordinating enterprise-wide risk assessments and maintaining corporate risk registers. Minimum of 8 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience: in enterprise risk management, project risk management, internal control, governance, compliance, audit, project controls, finance or a related field.
