Key Responsibilities: Prepare and monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support management decisions. Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and daily financial activities. Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and financial statements. Conduct periodic stock and inventory reconciliations and investigate variances. Monitor hotel income and expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory, and accounting requirements. Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, receivables, and payables. Support payroll processing and ensure accurate accounting for staff-related costs. Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and relevant regulatory authorities when required. Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely settlement of obligations. Requirements: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 2 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent analytical, numerical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
