We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Social Media Assistant Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate should understand social media trends, be able to create engaging content, manage online communities, and assist with the day-to-day execution of the company's social media strategy. We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Assistant to support the Digital Marketing team in managing the company's social media platforms and online presence. Key Responsibilities: Work with the graphics/video team to ensure content is delivered on schedule. Assist with the implementation of the social media content calendar. Develop engaging captions, content ideas, and calls-to-action. Monitor competitors and identify opportunities for better engagement. Track basic social media performance, including reach, engagement, and follower growth. Assist the Digital Marketing team with other marketing activities when required. Assist in managing the company's social media platforms. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions. Prepare simple weekly/monthly social media reports. Research social media trends, hashtags and relevant content ideas. Create, schedule and publish social media content. Support promotional campaigns, property listings, events and other company activities. Requirements: Creative mindset with an understanding of current social media trends. Previous internship, freelance, or personal social media management experience: is an advantage. ND/HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications, Business Administration or a related field. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take initiative. Good knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. 0–2 years of experience: in social media management, content creation or digital marketing. Good writing and communication skills. Basic knowledge of Canva and Meta Business Suite is an advantage.
