We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Technician (Plastic Manufacturing) Location: Onitsha, Anambra Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and electrical testing of factory equipment. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, sensors, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial electrical components. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency. Recommend improvements that enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports. Ensure all machines operate safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and electrical standards. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and machine manuals. Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on production machines. Diagnose and repair electrical faults on injection moulding, blow moulding, and auxiliary equipment. Requirements: NYSC or discharge certificate Practical experience: with PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, electrical control panels, and industrial automation. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Good understanding of industrial safety practices and preventive maintenance. 3–5 years' hands-on experience: as an Electrical Technician in a plastic manufacturing company. Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults quickly and effectively. Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
