They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting clients with insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and provide insights to support client decision-making. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports. Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve financial reporting processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of management reports and board packs. Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA or in progress) is an added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. 2–3 years of relevant experience: in financial reporting, preferably within a consulting firm or professional services environment.
