We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Location: Wuse Zone 7, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid) Responsibilities: Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments. Regression and Smoke Testing:Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes and execute daily smoke tests on new builds. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test results, testing procedures, and best practices. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using our defect tracking system, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution. FinTech Focus: Execute in-depth testing for our FinTech platform, including payments, ledger systems, compliance features, and user interfaces. Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings, actively contributing to the quality strategy for the team. Manual Testing:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on product requirements: and user stories. Requirements: Education: Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Tools:Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Manual Testing Proficiency:Demonstrated expertise in various manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Experience: with testing APIs (e.g., Postman). Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience: in Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. FinTech Domain Knowledge:Understanding of, or demonstrable interest in, financial technology, including concepts like payments, transfers, or banking processes.
