FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented QC Technician to join the Quality Control team of a leading construction materials company. The successful candidate will conduct laboratory and field tests on concrete and construction materials, maintain accurate testing records, and ensure materials meet required quality specifications. Key Responsibilities: Monitor laboratory consumables and report shortages or equipment maintenance needs. Perform other quality control duties assigned by Management. Prepare, label, cure, and maintain concrete cube samples for compressive strength testing. Report failed tests, quality concerns, and material non-conformities promptly. Perform compressive strength tests on concrete cubes and accurately record results. Maintain accurate laboratory and field testing records, including test reports, cube registers, and quality logs. Monitor and maintain curing tanks, testing equipment, and laboratory facilities. Conduct concrete slump tests to verify workability and compliance with approved mix designs. Conduct aggregate sieve analysis and other material tests. Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Determine aggregate moisture content and communicate results to the batching plant team for mix adjustments. Ensure laboratory activities comply with company quality procedures, testing standards, and HSE requirements. Qualifications & Experience: ND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Experience: in a ready-mix concrete or construction materials laboratory is an added advantage. 3–5 years' experience: in concrete quality control, laboratory testing, or construction materials testing.
