We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Cashier Location: Lagos Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced wholesale fashion environment. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile daily sales and prepare cash reports for management. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cashier workstation. Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each business day. Receive and process cash, POS, and bank transfer payments accurately. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for. Perform other administrative or finance-related duties as assigned. Report any payment discrepancies or cash shortages immediately. Support the sales team in delivering excellent customer service. Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner. Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all daily transactions. Education: & Experience: At least 1 year of experience: as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred. Minimum of HND, or Bachelor's Degree in anyfield. Requirements: Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong numerical and record-keeping skills. High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail. Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Excel is an added advantage. Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Fully Onsite Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday to Saturday One day off every month (scheduled by management). Other Requirements: Applicants should reside on Lagos Island or its environs to ensure easy commute. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced retail/wholesale environment. Candidates with experience: in retail, wholesale, or fashion businesses will have an added advantage. Remuneration & Benefits: Complimentary lunch every Friday. 150,000 Monthly Salary.
