The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong hospitality, financial, and people-management skills, capable of driving business growth while maintaining excellent service and operational standards. The Borough Lagos is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our boutique hotel and restaurant. Key Responsibilities: Maintain high standards of guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, and service delivery. Develop and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and service standards. Drive revenue growth, profitability, occupancy, and restaurant performance. Provide regular reports and performance updates to the Managing Director/Owner. Oversee the daily operations of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Monitor hotel and restaurant KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and development of employees in collaboration with HR. Monitor budgets, expenses, procurement, inventory, and overall cost control. Work with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other departments to ensure strong operational and financial controls. Lead and manage department heads and operational teams, driving accountability and high performance. Manage guest complaints and ensure timely and effective service recovery. Identify opportunities for business growth, partnerships, events, and increased revenue. Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain hands-on when required. Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of relevant experience: in hotel, hospitality, restaurant, or related operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Proven experience: managing both hotel and restaurant/F&B operations is highly preferred. Strong leadership, people-management, and decision-making skills. High level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
