Madonna Model Schools is seeking a passionate, competent and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the approved school curriculum. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the school management. Assess, record and report students' academic progress. Participate in staff meetings, examinations, training programmes and school activities. Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving among students. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline. Collaborate with other teachers, parents and school management to support students' development. Teach Mathematics effectively across assigned classes. Identify students' strengths and learning needs and provide appropriate support. Prepare lesson plans, lesson notes, schemes of work, assignments and instructional materials. Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including WAEC, NECO and BECE. Use appropriate teaching methods and practical examples to simplify mathematical concepts. Requirements: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience: preparing students for WAEC, NECO, BECE or similar external examinations will be an added advantage. Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts. Good organisational and time-management skills. Must be punctual, reliable and responsible. NCE holders with relevant teaching experience: may be considered. Must be willing to participate in school activities and programmes. Ability to use digital tools and technology to enhance teaching and learning. Must have a passion for educating and mentoring young people. Experience: teaching Mathematics at the Junior or Senior Secondary School level is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
