Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 8 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Strategic & Operational Leadership: Support the development and execution of the Site Masterplan to deliver imperatives across Growth, Execution, Culture, and Sustainability. Lead the creation and delivery of Manufacturing Annual Operating Plans aligned with the site’s Compelling Business Need. Achieve SQCDSM targets through disciplined governance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Team Leadership & Capability Building: Build a cohesive, high‑performing manufacturing team with strong engagement, alignment, and accountability. Cascade plans, priorities, and KPIs to ensure clarity and 100% employee engagement. Role‑model company values through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. IL6S, TPM & Transformation Leadership: Lead the IL6S Leadership Pillar and E2ESN Pillar, driving maturity across the plant. Manage transformation toward Factory of the Future, including line‑centric roles (AM, PM) and the integrated 6‑Star model. Progress operating teams toward self‑sufficient, autonomous performance. Continuous Improvement & Zero‑Loss Mindset: Establish strong governance systems to review, control, and elevate operational performance. Drive CI initiatives to embed a zero‑loss culture and benchmark against internal and external best practices. Identify and implement improvements in technology, capability, culture, and operating systems. Compliance, Standards & Governance: Ensure full compliance with all manufacturing standards including: Corporate Quality, Food Safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Sustainability, CodeCode of Conduct & Policies, Operational Standards & Local Legal Requirements, Internal Audit norms Maintain robust systems for monitoring, reviewing, and updating compliance requirements. Talent, Engagement & Workforce Planning Lead talent strategy for the manufacturing function — attraction, retention, development, and succession. Build technical and behavioral capability at all levels to ensure a sustainable workforce for the future. Partner effectively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders. Financial & Budget Accountability Lead the manufacturing budget and monthly performance cycle. Deliver commitments in line with the Annual Contract and Compelling Business Need. Apply strong financial acumen to optimize cost, productivity, and resource allocation. Requirements: Engineering Degree or equivalent. Post‑graduate diploma in business/commercial management (preferred). Leadership development program or qualification. Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in FMCG (8+ years). Deep expertise in TPM, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven experience leading cultural transformation in unionized, diverse manufacturing environments. Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in team‑based settings. Strong analytical capability, judgment, problem‑solving, and influence. Engineering background with solid financial acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial equipment. Experience in digitalization of end‑to‑end plant operations (advantageous). Confectionery and beverage processing knowledge (highly advantageous). Highly driven, energetic team player who inspires excellence.
