The tutor will also help learners apply digital skills to real-world problems, coordinate with program staff to refine the curriculum, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Some work from home is acceptable, particularly for virtual classes, preparation, and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include designing lesson plans and learning materials, demonstrating software tools and digital platforms, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. This contract role involves planning and facilitating classes in Port Harcourt, providing both in-person and online sessions in a hybrid format, and offering one-on-one support where needed. Qualifications Relevant certification or diploma in education, information technology, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience: in community training programs is an advantage. Comfort with hybrid delivery methods, including in-person classes in Port Harcourt and online instruction from home. Experience: teaching, tutoring, or facilitating training sessions, preferably in technology-related subjects. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners. Ability to design clear lesson plans, create simple learning materials, and adapt content for different skill levels.
