Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Executive level Experience Length: 10 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute sales plans by setting targets, defining sales strategies and identifying business opportunities Play key role in driving PSN’s strategic product and service awareness. Analyse market data and customer needs and trends for sales forecasts and informed resource allocation. Manage sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales progress to ensure efficient closing and revenue generation. Analyse market trends and competitor activities by staying up-to-date on industry developments and competitor strategies in identifying opportunities for growth. Sales Execution and Reporting: Develop proposals and present agricultural equipment/generator solutions to potential clients, needs assessment and sales negotiation. Document daily market interactions with clients and competitors to inform future sales strategies. Report on sales activity and performance by monitoring sales metrics and providing insight to senior management on team and market performance. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate and assign territory to the sales team by providing guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets. Conduct performance evaluation via feedback and support to the sales team and address areas of improvement and celebrate successes. Work in partnership with HR to hire and train new sales team members through development and implementation of training programmes to equip the team with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Collaborate with HR to cascade PSN goals and objectives into departmental then individual targets and goals to ensure each team member has clear objectives that align with our vision and mission statement and a road map for achieving them. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key accounts and understand each client’s specific needs and requirements. Resolve issues with distributors, dealers, or other partners in a timely and effective manner. Continuously improving customer engagement by organizing demos, exhibitions, conferences, etc. Employ new and existing resources to ensure the needs of customers are met in a timely fashion. Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities by visiting both the market as well as potential and existing clients to gather intelligence. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field of study. Ten or more years of relevant experience. Prior experience working within the generator/agricultural equipment sector. Proven record of sales & marketing management and business development experience. Superb people skills and confidence to engage individuals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines in clear cut communication. Ability to travel as required, work independently and achieve targets. Strategic team lead with a high level of dedication. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, marketing communication, and other similar in-house applications. Grace, patience, empathy, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a sense of humour are all soft skills sought by PSN for this role. Financial planning and solid negotiation skills to accomplish set tasks within the departmental budget. Must network and build professional relationships with a variety of distributors and dealers in the agricultural equipment and generator sector. Efficient organisational and active listening skills. Training and coaching skills are crucial for this role to build and lead a high-performing sales team. Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures. Uphold a high level of tactical thinking capability while achieving a set goal within budget limit.
