We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: MEP Plumbing Engineer Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Plumbing Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and quality assurance of plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems across our building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hydraulic and mechanical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant engineering codes and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise plumbing installation works on-site, ensuring strict adherence to approved drawings, safety protocols, and quality standard practices. Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage sub-contractors and plumbing technicians, ensuring project milestones and execution deadlines are met. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with civil engineers, architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of MEP services. Inspection & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections, prepare detailed progress reports, and resolve technical challenges on-site promptly. Testing & Commissioning: Oversee system testing (leak testing, pressure testing, hydro-testing) and commissioning of all water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems prior to project handover. System Design & Review: Review, interpret, and validate mechanical/plumbing design drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications for building projects. Technical Specifications: Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for plumbing, drainage, sewage, and water treatment systems. Requirements: & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 4–7 years of practical experience: in MEP design, site execution, and plumbing engineering works. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other relevant engineering design software. In-depth understanding of local and international plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations. Strong knowledge of domestic, commercial, and industrial water supply, drainage, sewage treatment, and fire protection systems.
