The successful candidate will serve as the company’s on-site operational lead , ensuring that properties, facilities, equipment, contractors, and site activities are properly coordinated and maintained. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on, organized, and responsible professional who can work independently, solve problems quickly, coordinate people and vendors, and maintain high standards across the company’s properties. Key Responsibilities: Site & Facility Operations Oversee the daily operations of assigned sites and facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and operational issues. Ensure that buildings, common areas, equipment, utilities, and external areas are properly maintained. Monitor the general condition and appearance of properties and facilities. Ensure operational issues are identified and resolved promptly. Maintenance & Repairs Coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance. Supervise repairs and ensure work is completed to the required standard. Liaise with technicians, artisans, contractors, and service providers. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and recurring issues. Escalate major technical or structural issues to management when necessary. Contractor & Vendor Management Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers. Obtain and compare quotations where required. Monitor contractors to ensure work is completed on time and according to agreed specifications. Verify completed work before recommending payment. Maintain professional relationships with vendors and service providers. Security, Safety & Compliance Coordinate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment. Identify potential safety and security risks and report them promptly. Ensure basic health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained. Monitor access to the property where applicable. Report incidents, damages, hazards, and other significant issues to management. Cleaning & Environmental Management Supervise cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and general environmental upkeep. Ensure common areas and facilities remain clean, functional, and presentable. Monitor the performance of cleaning and facility-support personnel. Utilities & Asset Management Monitor electricity, water, waste disposal, and other essential utilities. Track facility equipment, tools, materials, and other operational assets. Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary operational and maintenance costs. Maintain accurate records of company property and facility assets. Reporting & Administration Prepare regular reports on site conditions, maintenance, incidents, expenses, and outstanding issues. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, contractors, vendors, and facility activities. Provide management with recommendations for improving site operations and facility performance. Respond promptly to operational issues and follow through until resolution. Requirements: BSc. or HND in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, Property Management, or a related field.
