They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Control Officer Location: Futo Axis, Imo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to ensure our products consistently meet regulatory and company quality standards. The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality throughout the production process. The successful candidate will conduct laboratory tests, inspect production processes, ensure compliance with NAFDAC and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, and support continuous quality improvement within the factory. Key Responsibilities: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Inspect raw materials, packaging materials and finished products. Monitor factory hygiene and sanitation practices. Work closely with the Production Manager to improve product quality and reduce waste. Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections. Conduct routine physical, chemical and microbiological tests on raw water and finished products. Ensure testing equipment and laboratory instruments are properly maintained and calibrated. Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, GMP and company quality standards. Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports. Maintain accurate laboratory and quality control records. Investigate customer complaints relating to product quality. Requirements: Knowledge of NAFDAC regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an added advantage. Good understanding of laboratory procedures and quality assurance principles. Minimum of two (2) years' experience: in quality control within a water, food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing company. B.Sc. or HND in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional fresh graduates with relevant industrial training may also be considered. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good report writing and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
