Storekeeper Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification OND Experience: 3 years Location Lagos Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain Salary Range ₦50,000 - ₦100,000/month Department: Store/Inventory Operations Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming food items, ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies. Organize and arrange stock properly in the store for easy identification and access. Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, and remaining. Issue ingredients and supplies to the kitchen based on approved requests. Monitor stock levels and notify management when items are running low. Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock-taking and inventory checks. Monitor expiry dates and ensure the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is properly followed. Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies to prevent spoilage, damage, or contamination. Keep the store clean, organised, and hygienic at all times. Report damaged, expired, missing, or low-stock items to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with receiving and verifying supplies against invoices or delivery notes. Maintain proper documentation of all stock movements. Help prevent wastage, loss, and unauthorized removal of company stock. Carry out other duties assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Operations Manager. Requirements: Previous experience: as a Storekeeper, Inventory Assistant, or in a similar role is an advantage. Good record-keeping and organisational skills. Ability to count accurately and maintain proper stock records. Good attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good personal hygiene and awareness of food storage and safety standards. Honest, reliable, responsible, and hardworking. Team player with a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions effectively.
