The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in diesel generator repairs, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment maintenance, while effectively leading a team to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and minimal downtime. The successful candidate must be proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of maintenance and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate the servicing, overhauling, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generators to minimize operational downtime. Perform diagnostics, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel generators to ensure maximum reliability and performance. Install, commission, and test generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and related electrical components. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of diesel generators and power distribution systems. Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan for missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively. Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.
