Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely reconciliation. Track and reconcile client property payments, outstanding balances, deposits, and instalments. Maintain financial records for individual real estate projects. Monitor construction and project-related expenses against approved budgets. Prepare monthly management accounts, cash-flow reports, expense reports, and other financial statements. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of project profitability. Review payment requests and supporting documents to ensure proper approvals and documentation. Monitor supplier, contractor, and vendor accounts. Assist with payroll, staff expenses, and reimbursements. Ensure compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or a project-based business. ICAN/ACCA qualification or progress toward qualification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, Zoho Books, or similar. Experience: with project accounting, client payment tracking, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
