We are the sole distributor of ESRI, ENVI, Trimble and WINGTRA Drones with exclusive representation in Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Gabon, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, and Liberia. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Driver Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Assist the HC &Admin in the purchase of new vehicles by obtaining quotes, test driving and negotiations with dealerships. Provide general operational support services to staff during assignments and Programmes Ensure that the pool cars are always kept in good mechanical condition. Drive any vehicle or any staff to any destination for the performance of company’s work or duties as directed by the HC/Admin & Operations Manager or her representative Perform routine preventive checks regularly (rotation of tyres, checking oil and water levels, keeping battery water at proper level, ensuring oil is changed and autos are lubricated as required). Ensure all vehicle logs are duly completed (i.e. trip logs, motor vehicle accident forms and petrol logs are in each vehicle). Perform other related duties assigned by management Ensure all vehicles are safe and ready to be used. Liaise with DVLA and Insurance Brokers to update all records on road worthiness certificates and insurance of vehicles and motor-bikes. Drive in professional capacity and competence any vehicle assigned for the performance of the company’s work or duties Adhere to vehicle schedule of events and assist the Department to coordinate staff and executive movements Care for and maintain any vehicle assigned Pick-up and deliver dispatches, letters, and packages up to and including confidential documents to/from various banks/institutions Report any abnormality, damage, loss or theft of any vehicle or its parts to the HC/Admin & Operations Manager within 24 hours Maintain and update records on each vehicle Requirements: A minimum of 5 years’ experience: as a driver is required Knowledge of GPS use and Rotes Defensive practical driving skills Knowledge and use of English language Should possess a minimum of an SHS certificate Knowledge of driving theory (road signs, markings, etc) Valid Driving License.
