We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Tailor Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (Remote) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality African wear, ensuring excellent finishing, and meeting production deadlines while maintaining our brand's quality standards. We are looking for skilled and dedicated Tailors to join our growing African fashion brand. Key Responsibilities: Interpret fashion sketches, patterns, and production instructions accurately. Perform any other tailoring-related duties assigned by management. Collaborate effectively with designers, pattern makers, and other production team members. Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and other tailoring equipment. Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe. Ensure garments meet the company's quality standards before delivery. Cut, sew, and finish African wear according to approved designs and measurements. Meet daily and weekly production targets. Work with different fabrics commonly used for African wear, including Ankara, Aso Oke, Lace, Adire, Kampala, and Senator materials. Carry out fittings and make necessary alterations to garments. Required Skills: Experience: producing high-quality African wear is required. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good teamwork and communication skills. Strong knowledge of pattern interpretation and garment finishing. Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment. Excellent tailoring and garment construction skills. Experience: working in a fashion house or garment production environment is an added advantage. Good understanding of measurements and garment fitting. Ability to produce neat, accurate, and high-quality work. Formal training or certification in Fashion Design or Tailoring is an added advantage.
