We are seeking an Igbo Language Specialist to support the translation and localization of content for a fintech/digital financial services app. Key Responsibilities: Proofread content for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency. Review and revise translations based on feedback. Maintain consistent terminology across the app. Support user interviews, usability testing, and research involving Igbo-speaking users. Translate fintech and app content from English into Igbo. Adapt financial and fintech terminology for easy understanding. Interpret research conversations and accurately communicate user feedback. Provide simple English back-translations when required. Produce clear, accurate, and natural Igbo translations. Requirements: Degree or formal academic training in Igbo, Nigerian Languages, Linguistics, or a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience. Strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Igbo. Good written and spoken English. Ability to write clearly and formally in Igbo. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
