The Retail Coordinator plays a key role in the achievement of CSTC’s portfolio diversification agenda by developing product lines, maximizing profits while minimizing costs. Responsibilites Retail Sales and Operations: Supervision, and Coordination of activities and day to day management of the retail shops,online shop and retail team. Tracks performance data (i.e., vendor performance, best sellers, termly forward demand and monthly sales per outlet) and responds with solutions that drive commercial success. Provides sales analysis and interprets the business trend to facilitate planning. Sources, negotiates and buys within approved budgets, allocates resources and organises retail processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions. Prepares adequate business plans that cover sales, revenue and expense control for approvals. Utilises various tools to monitor and measure customer experience: and satisfaction levels periodically, recommending and implementing interventions to consistently improve customer experience, retention and drive growth. Responsible for developing and implementing approved customer acquisition and revenue growth strategies. Product and business development, generating, and implementing new initiatives, products, services and outlets that grow market share, enhance revenue growth and ensure profitability. Manages an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customers by ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained consistently. Cultivates and maintains a pool of collaborative and reliable procurement and distribution channels and partners, ensuring professional management. Market research and analytics for identifying customers’ needs, internal planning, sourcing, and buying decisions. The roles of customer growth, acquisition, retention, and upsell are critical. Responsible for product lines and retail business in line with agreed objectives and delivery of devolved revenue and sales targets of the Enterprise function. People Management and Development: Manages and motivates the retail team to increase sales and ensure efficiency. Provide regular training and development for team members. Creates a high-performance culture within the retail team by setting clear expectations and targets, training, analysing team performance, holding team members accountable and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poorperformance. Marketing: Conceptualise and implement approved marketing, products and sales campaigns for the business. 1. Coordinate the marketing and promotional efforts that project CSTC’s unique products and services across social and digital media including but not limited to social media content creation, response to prospective customers via the shop's online platforms, preparation of monthly social media reports, social media follower growth, etc. Sourcing external clients for all the retail categories/items. Reporting: Able to analyse market developments and able to prepare and make effective presentations, reports and scenarios for decision-making. Produces and presents periodic reports, as required. Any other duty as assigned by the Business Development Manager. Requirement Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised institution. Experience: in retail management. Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Skills : High Initiative and Problem-Solving skills Excellent Collaboration and Team Leadership skills Knowledge in the use of any retail management application Able to understand profit and loss statements to facilitate business decisions. Good appreciation IT and working knowledge of Microsoft office tools. An entrepreneurial, customer and business-oriented personality Excellent planning and organization skills Self-driven and result oriented individual. Strong negotiation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Creative and analytical Behaviours A positive can-do spirit.
