The ideal person will manage our outsourced packaging jobs end-to-end: interpreting client requirements, sourcing the right vendors, negotiating costs, and ensuring quality delivery on time. Key Responsibilities Client Requirements: Meet with clients/sales team to understand packaging needs for pouches, corrugated cartons, boxes, wrappers, and other packaging types. Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, onboard, and manage reliable vendors for different packaging jobs. Quotations & Negotiation: Get quotes from vendors, negotiate best prices and lead times, and maintain cost records. Quality Control: Ensure packaging produced meets client specs, brand standards, and delivery timelines. Job Coordination: Liaise between client, internal team, and vendor from job briefing to final delivery. Market Research: Stay updated on new packaging materials, trends, and cost-saving opportunities. Requirements Education: OND or First Degree in any field. Background in Packaging, Supply Chain, or Marketing is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in packaging - specifically with pouches, corrugated cartons, boxes, wrappers, plastic containers and other packaging types. Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and costing. Proven vendor management and negotiation skills. Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple jobs at once. Must be based in Lagos and willing to visit vendors/clients.
