This role requires a hands-on technical professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. The Technical Lead will be responsible for providing technical direction and oversight for the company’s digital agriculture platform, work closely with software developers, coordinate technical projects, ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable, and oversee its ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Ensure the adoption of software development standards, security best practices, and quality assurance processes. Review system architecture, code qualityand development processes to ensure adherence to best practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal and external software development teams. Participate in technical planning, solution design, and technology decisions. Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s technology platform. Plan and oversee feature enhancements, system upgrades, and platform optimizations. Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate timely resolutions. Ensure the platform is well documented, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Project & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate software releases and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Manage relationships with external developers, vendors, and technology partners where required. Collaborate with business, operations, and product teams to translate business requirements: into effective technical solutions. Provide regular updates on project progress, platform performance, and technical risks to management. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, system architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud-based applications. Minimum of 2-5 years of professional software development experience,technical leadership or team lead role. Experience: inAgritech, FinTech, or related technology sectors will be an added advantage. Proven experience: managing software development teams and delivering technology projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience: supporting or managing enterprise software platforms is required. N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
