We are seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Manager to lead the organization’s compliance function, ensure regulatory adherence, manage compliance risks, and promote a strong culture of ethics, accountability, and transparency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures. Oversee KYC, due diligence, AML/CFT, fraud prevention, and suspicious transaction reporting. Lead compliance monitoring, investigations, and follow-up on regulatory and audit findings. Provide regular compliance reports and insights to management and the Board. Ensure compliance with applicable CBN, NDIC, SEC, EFCC, AML/CFT, and data protection regulations. Develop and deliver compliance and AML training across the organization. Identify, assess, and monitor compliance and operational risks across business units. Advise management and the Board on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and emerging issues. Oversee timely regulatory filings, reporting, and correspondence. Maintain effective relationships with regulators, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders. Requirements: Professional certification such as CAMS, CFE, CRCP, ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant compliance tools. Minimum of 8 years’ experience: in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs. Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment. Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills. At least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, AML/CFT, and data protection requirements. A Master’s degree is an advantage. Ideal Candidate: A strategic and experienced compliance professional with strong regulatory knowledge, leadership ability, and the judgment to manage complex compliance and risk matters in a regulated financial services environment.
