Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Data Intelligence & Capital Markets Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos Job Field Administration / Facilities , Data, Business Analysis and AI IPMC Limited is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Data Intelligence & Capital Markets to provide operational and market leadership for its Data Intelligence Platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the platform from the perspective of its target users, including asset managers, pension funds, banks, investment firms, institutional investors and regulators. The COO will also serve as a senior external representative and one of the principal faces of the Data Intelligence business. Key Responsibilities: Lead the operational development and commercialization of the Data Intelligence Platform. Simulate and evaluate how capital market operators, institutions and regulators will use the platform for real investment, risk and regulatory decisions. Review platform products, dashboards, analytics and reports from an institutional-user perspective. Identify gaps in data, analytics, benchmarking and decision-support capabilities. Work closely with Data, Technology, Regulatory and Business Development teams to improve product relevance and usability. Support the development of financial, fixed-income, ESG, regulatory and market intelligence products. Lead selected platform demonstrations, client engagements, institutional pilots and strategic partnerships. Engage senior decision-makers across financial institutions, regulators and capital market organisations. Provide capital-markets insight into product strategy, pricing, positioning and commercial opportunities. Represent the business at relevant industry meetings, conferences, webinars and professional forums. Requirements: CFA Charterholder strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. Strong experience: in capital markets, investment management, asset management, banking, securities, research or related financial services. Strong understanding of investment analysis, financial markets, fixed income and institutional decision-making. Experience: working with financial-data, research or investment-intelligence platforms will be an advantage. Strong commercial, analytical and strategic thinking. Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to engage confidently with senior executives, investors, institutions and regulators. Previous leadership or management experience: is highly desirable.
