We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Project Engineer Job Identification: 633 Location: Nigeria Job Summary The role also oversees stakeholder engagement across all levels and supports effective project governance through budget management, resource and personnel planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and documentation management. The role coordinates project activities, establishes milestones, manages project schedules, and ensures the effective integration of all engineering elements required for successful project delivery. The Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and technical leadership throughout the planning and execution of multidisciplinary projects. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with NDPR and other data protection laws and practices. Manage customer satisfaction within the project execution period. Conduct effective planning, critical path analysis, and earned value analysis of capital projects. Assist designated project quality assurance activities, processes, plans, and personnel performance and reporting. Prepare status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant information. Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications. Lead change request activities to ensure alignment of all parties on project schedule and deliverables. Monitor compliance with project or project contractual obligations. Meet project targets and identify and resolve issues. Ensure project closeout reporting and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Undertake Data Protection Impact Assessments where applicable to mitigate data protection risks during data processing operations. Interact with clients and integrate their needs and requirements: into field engineering and project activities. Review engineering tasks and initiate corrective actions. Develop project plans and schedules; coordinate and monitor assigned projects. Ensure awareness, understanding, and application of HSE policy and application of departmental objectives. Ensure awareness of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) and its application. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure all aspects of work are properly managed. Organize, attend, participate in, document, and follow up on actions and decisions from stakeholder meetings. Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution. Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution. Understand and identify hazards, risks, environmental aspects, and impacts as they relate to assigned responsibilities: and practices. Education: and Work Experience: Project Management certification is an added advantage. Engineering background, preferably a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering or its equivalent. HSE training certification is an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years' project management experience. Skills and Competencies: Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of other related engineering fields. Good project management and supervision skills.
