We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Experienced Recovery Officer Location: Nigeria Employment Type: Full-time Job Mission Recover bad debts from debtors who show unwillingness to pay back the loan taken. Responsibilities: Make regular reports and suggestions to the bank on actions required to protect its fund from bad loan clients. Any other responsibilities: that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor. Negotiate work out plans with willing debtors. Initiates process to prosecute hard core debtors in line with guiding bank policy, Recovery of classified loans. Daily review of all the outstanding and overdue loan clients. Liaise with branches to manage and monitor non - performing loans. Conduct regular review and visits to clients with outstanding loan portfolios at risk. Educational Qualifications Candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND Must have completed NYSC Previous work Experience: or training in recovery (Preferably in an MfB or a commercial Bank). Required skills/ Experience: High level of integrity Fluent in English and Hausa or Yoruba (spoken and written) 1 - 3 Years of experience: in Recovery in a Microfinance Institution Articulate and result oriented Previous loan recovery experience: Accurate, organized and motivated Strong negotiation Status Local contract with Nigerian MFB.
