They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Institutional Business Development & Technical Executive Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Industrial Chemicals | Water Treatment | Commercial Hygiene Solutions Job Summary They are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Institutional Business Development & Technical Executive to drive business growth while providing technical support to commercial and institutional clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key institutional accounts, providing technical product support, and delivering value-driven hygiene and water treatment solutions to commercial clients. This role combines consultative B2B sales with technical advisory services, requiring the ability to understand customer operations, recommend appropriate chemical solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and build long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & B2B Sales: Expand existing customer accounts while acquiring new clients. Identify and develop new business opportunities across the hospitality, healthcare, facility management, commercial real estate, manufacturing, and food service sectors. Promote premium hygiene, cleaning, disinfection, and water treatment solutions. Prospect and engage decision-makers including Facility Managers, Procurement Managers, Chief Engineers, Head Housekeepers, and Operations Managers. Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Negotiate long-term supply agreements and corporate contracts. Technical Sales Support: Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to understand client requirements. Support product demonstrations under the guidance of the Technical Support Manager. Recommend appropriate chemical formulations and hygiene solutions. Develop dosing schedules, product application procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot customer challenges relating to water treatment, sanitation, and chemical applications. Client Training & Compliance: Support customers in complying with relevant regulatory standards including NAFDAC, LASEPA, and other industry requirements. Deliver product training sessions and technical workshops for customer teams. Educate clients on chemical safety, application procedures, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Account Management: Manage customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. Coordinate product deliveries with internal teams. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports. Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, payments, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Exceptional fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales are also encouraged to apply. 3–5 years' experience: in B2B sales within industrial chemicals, commercial cleaning, water treatment, hospitality, facility management, or related industries.
