Troubleshoot technical issues during productions and implement immediate solutions to minimize disruption. Monitor the performance and condition of technical equipment and systems. Set up and test technical equipment before production or transmission. Conduct regular testing and calibration of equipment. Provide technical support for live broadcasts, studio productions, recordings, events, and outside broadcasts. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all technical equipment. Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of broadcast equipment. Assist in setting up studios, control rooms, and editing suites Maintain cameras, vision mixers/switchers, audio consoles, microphones, monitors, recorders, encoders, decoders, intercom systems, and related equipment. Install, configure, test, operate, and maintain broadcast equipment and systems. Carry out repairs and replacements where technically appropriate. Ensure that audio and video signals meet required quality standards. Qualifications & Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience: in broadcast engineering, studio engineering, telecommunications, or a related technical environment. Relevant professional certifications in broadcast technology, networking, electronics, or engineering are an advantage. Practical experience: with live production, transmission, and/or streaming systems is highly desirable. Experience: troubleshooting audio, video, networking, and broadcast equipment.
