The PC is responsible for coordinating logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance with NMDPRA standards, and maintaining seamless communication between supply partners, distribution hubs, and management. The Project Coordinator (PC) will support the Project Management team in the operationalization of the "Decade of Gas" initiative, a Federal Government of Nigeria program aimed at transforming the nation into a gas-based economy. This role is central to accelerating the transition from traditional, polluting fuels like firewood and kerosene to cleaner Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Key Responsibilities: Initiation & Regulatory Alignment: Coordinate with supply partners (e.g., Rainoil, Techno) to finalize partnerships and bulk LPG acquisition. Verify and acquire necessary NMDPRA secondary operational permits for storage, transport, and safety. Sourcing & Infrastructure Readiness: Facilitate audit and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with internal procurement policies. Oversee the procurement and vetting of 3,000 units of 3kg cylinders to meet technical specifications. Operational Blueprinting: Support the establishment of the HSE Management System specific to LPG risks. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for refilling, quality control, and hazardous material handling. Execution & Distribution: Manage the nationwide logistics workflow and bridging via Road Tanker Trucks (RATTs). Perform continuous financial monitoring of monthly cash outflows against projections using Zoho Books. Monitoring & Scale-up: Gather industry intelligence and produce quarterly reports (IIR) for management decision-making. Manage the item tagging process and nationwide inventory tracking to minimize loss. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance: All personnel and operations must strictly adhere to the following hazardous material handling protocols: Mandatory PPE: Antistatic/Flame-Retardant (FR) clothing, safety boots, high-visibility vests, nitrile gloves, and eye protection during refilling. Handling Protocols: Mandatory leak testing before/after transfer, strict adherence to 3kg fill pressure, and 30-meter hazard zones (no ignition sources). Spark Prevention & Grounding: Use of non-ferrous, spark-proof tools for all maintenance; effective grounding of all RATTs and transfer equipment. Qualifications Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and adaptability under pressure. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project coordination, with at least 2 years in the Oil and Gas or LPG sector. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc or PMP certification preferred). Technical & Functional Skills: Extensive experience: as a regulatory liaison with bodies like NMDPRA, NCDMB, and FMEnv.
