The ideal candidate should be able to identify learners who need specialized intervention and develop strategies to support them in diverse classrooms. The ideal candidate should be a team player who contributes to developing and maintaining an emotionally, psychologically, and physically safe, as well as orderly school environment through a creative and cognitively stimulating climate that is conducive to learning. The teaching role includes organizing and overseeing after-school clubs, sports and recreational activities. The successful candidate is willing to take on specialized responsibilities: tailored to the local environment and the unique needs of the school. The candidate of choice must have excellent class management skills which will ensure that all set targets are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning differentiated lessons, conducting continuous student assessments, and adapting global teaching standards to a diverse Nigerian student body. Requirements: He/She must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills. Minimum of three (3) years uninterrupted teaching experience: in an international school. Excellent diction and experience: in WAEC and IGCSE curricula. Candidate must be a University graduate with a first degree, preferably B.Ed or its equivalent, from a reputable tertiary institution. Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is required. Master's Degree in Educational Management and Planning or a professional qualification in education: or any other related certification will be an advantage. Understanding of the relevant laws and regulations governing the provision of educational services in Nigeria. Candidate must possess strong moral values and discipline. Effective communication skills. In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and British curricula and expertise in international curricula like Cambridge IGCSE, A-Levels, etc. Knowledge of the Nigerian National Policy on Education. Must be a Christian with basic Christian experience. Soft Skills: Knowledge of best practices in child education. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Extremely effective administration of multifaceted operations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to professionally and effectively communicate with educators, parents, and community leaders. Excellent supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
