We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Full-time About The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our operation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to manufacture high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment faults promptly. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Collaborate with supervisors and other production personnel to meet production targets. Select and install the correct cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Ensure compliance with company quality standards and HSE policies. Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, or machining centre equipment. Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and product quality. Qualifications and Experience: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Minimum of an OND, Trade Test, City & Guilds, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. 2–5 years' experience: operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments. Good understanding of CNC machining processes and machine controls. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
