Quality Control Superintendent Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 8 years Location Anambra Job Field Engineering / Technical Responsibilities: Inspect incoming raw materials, including plastic resins, colorants, and hardware (hinges, latches). Monitor rotational molding or injection molding processes for defects. Test finished plastic coolers and flasks for structural strength, thermal retention, and seal integrity. Reject products that fail to meet company standards and document reasons for rejection. Supervise daily activities of the QC team across shifts. Train new inspectors on testing methods and safety protocols. Schedule staff shifts to ensure continuous quality coverage during production. Analyze defect data to identify root causes of manufacturing issues. Collaborate with production engineers to resolve machine errors or mold defects. Update quality control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure products comply with industry standards and consumer safety laws. Maintain clear records of test results, inspections, and customer complaints. Prepare daily and monthly quality reports for upper management. Qualifications & Experience: B.Eng. / HND in Engineering or Natural Sciences. Minimum of 8 years of practical experience, with at least 5 years obtained within manufacturing companies.
