Production Technician/Shift Head in a Leading Beverage Manufacturing Company - Michael Stevens Consulting ⏲ Aug 3, 2026, 5:17 AM ⋕ View all Manufacturing & Production jobs Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client, a Leading Beverage Manufacturing Company, is recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Production Technician/Shift Head Location: Anambra Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Coordinate changeovers, line clearance, and start-up/shutdown procedures. Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health & Safety procedures on the shop floor. Supervise and coordinate shift operations across production lines to meet daily/weekly output targets. Troubleshoot machine faults and liaise with the maintenance team for prompt resolution of downtime issues. Escalate critical production or quality issues to the Production Manager promptly. Ensure machines (fillers, blowers, labellers, palletizers, etc.) are properly set up, operated, and maintained. Supervise, train, and manage shift production staff, including allocation of duties and performance monitoring. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards. Maintain accurate shift production, downtime, and wastage records/reports. Requirements: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Strong knowledge of bottling/production line machinery and processes. Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience: in a beverage/FMCG production environment, with at least 2 years in a shift supervisory role. Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, and factory safety standards. OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Good communication and reporting skills.
