We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Staff Accountant - Automotive / Manufacturing Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Automotive or Logistics experience: is highly desirable. Requirements: Must reside in Lagos. Proven experience: in fleet accounting, including vehicle acquisition costs, maintenance costs, fuel expenses, depreciation, repairs, and fleet-related operating expenses. Automotive industry experience: is mandatory. Must be available to resume immediately. Experience: preparing management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and financial analysis. Minimum of 3 years' relevant post-ICAN qualification experience. Ability to perform cost analysis, variance analysis, reconciliations, and financial controls. Automotive or Logistics experience: is highly desirable. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with financial data and reports. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Good understanding of IFRS and Nigerian tax/accounting requirements. Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines. Experience: with accounting software/ERP systems; Zoho Books experience: is an advantage. Experience: in fixed asset accounting, particularly vehicle and plant/equipment assets. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, and month-end closing. ICAN qualified – ACA is required. Practical experience: in manufacturing accounting, including production costs, raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, inventory valuation, and cost of production. Strong experience: in inventory and stock accounting, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
