Key Responsibilities: Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls. Work closely with the Finance, Operations, and Management teams to improve internal processes. Review transactions, records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. Prepare clear and accurate audit reports with findings and recommendations. Reconcile financial records and investigate discrepancies. Support fraud prevention and risk management activities. Review cash handling, expenses, procurement, and payment processes. Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, errors, and potential risks. Maintain proper documentation of audit activities and findings. Conduct regular internal audits of financial and operational activities. Follow up on implementation of corrective actions. Requirements: Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience: in the freight forwarding, clearing & logistics, shipping, or related industry is an added advantage. Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate financial/operational irregularities. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit procedures.
