We are seeking an experienced Chinese Translator to join our team on a full-time on-site job arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Chinese and English, with the ability to accurately translate and interpret in both languages. Responsibilities: Assist the Head of the production department in the supervision of daily activities at the factory site. Translate security documents, patrol reports and emergency plans. Provide accurate oral and written translations from Chinese to English and vice versa. Translate production documents, meeting contents and technical training materials. Facilitate communication between the security team and Chinese management. Act as a cultural bridge between the Chinese and Nigerians, facilitating clear communication and mutual understanding. Interpret spoken communication at various occasions, on-site interactions between Chinese and non-Chinese speaking staff. Assist in managing security patrol and ensure timely communication of emergencies Duly monitor all production activities and ensure the production staff carry out their duties efficiently Requirements: Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 3 years of experience. Should be responsible and have good management skills. Experience: studying or working in China is a plus Fluency in speaking and hearing Hausa is a plus Proven experience: in translation and interpretation, preferably in a mining, business or technical environment.
