If you are passionate about working with young children, enjoy being part of a team and are willing to be hands-on in helping to build a new childcare setting, we would love to hear from you. THE ROLE As a Childminder, you will work closely with the Room Leaders and other practitioners to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children. Your responsibilities: will include: Providing warm, responsive and attentive care to young children. Supporting children's daily routines, including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, sleep and personal care. Supporting play, learning and age-appropriate activities. Working closely with the Room Leader to ensure the smooth running of the room. Following the creche's safeguarding, health and safety and childcare policies. Supervising children at all times and maintaining high standards of safety. Assisting with setting up and tidying the room throughout the day. Cleaning and maintaining the children's areas, equipment and resources. Cleaning up after activities, mealtimes and children's routines. Helping to maintain a clean, hygienic and organised environment. Supporting other members of the team when required. Carrying out other ad hoc duties assigned by the Room Leader or Line Manager . WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will be: Caring, patient and genuinely passionate about working with young children. Reliable, punctual and hardworking. Friendly and able to work well as part of a team. Willing to follow instructions and work closely with Room Leaders. Comfortable with both childcare and cleaning responsibilities: . Proactive and willing to help wherever needed. Professional, presentable and respectful. Able to work in a start-up environment where everyone is expected to contribute and be hands-on. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience: working with young children in a creche, nursery, school, daycare or childcare setting is highly desirable. Relevant childcare qualifications will be an advantage.
