We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Relationship Manager Location : Lagos Job Type: Full-time Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and corporate clients. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues, support credit applications, adhere to risk and compliance requirements, and contribute to achieving branch and bank-wide revenue targets. This role involves building strong, long-term relationships, understanding clients’ financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking products and services. The Relationship Manager will conduct regular client meetings, prepare proposals, and coordinate account opening and onboarding activities. The role includes monitoring account performance, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Client relationship and account management skills, with the ability to build trust, maintain partnerships, and deliver excellent customer service. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CIBN) is an advantage. Sales, business development, and negotiation skills to identify opportunities, close deals, and meet or exceed financial and non-financial targets. Proficiency in basic banking software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and financial acumen, including credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and understanding of banking products and market trends. Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging clients, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and presenting solutions clearly.
