We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Civil Surveyor Location: Ota, Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The integrity of the setting-out system underpins our structural element across the project and deploys Land Surveyors across the structural and civil workstreams. Land Surveyor establishes and maintains site grid and benchmark system and provides accurate setting-out for all residential blocks. Responsibilities: Prepare pre-concrete and post-concrete protocols, bolt layouts with the diagonal checking etc. Set out all internal partition positions on each floor as required by the Fit-Out Manager. Set out all block positions and column grid positions to survey accuracy before each raft commences. Handle and operate the Auto level Instrument to check and transfer the required level and close the traverse. Provide survey support to the Site Engineers during reinforcement inspections. Calculate and plot the coordinates in the field through the Total Station Instrument. Provide level control for all floor slabs: establish floor datum marks on columns before each pour and verify slab thickness after striking. Establish the site grid and permanent benchmark system before any construction commences; obtain sign-off from the Construction Manager and structural engineer on all control points. Calibrate and maintain all survey instruments on site. Check and record all as-built column and slab positions after construction; produce as-built survey records. Plot all the data (collected through Total Station) in AutoCAD. Maintain the site survey register: all setting-out records, checks, and as-built measurements. Operatethe latest Total Station Instrument. Requirements: Proficiency with total station, digital level, and GPS survey equipment. High precision and absolute accuracy in all survey work. Meticulous record-keeping. Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience: on major construction projects. Experience: in setting out multi-storey reinforced concrete structures.
