The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality visual content for the organization's corporate activities, products, projects, events, marketing initiatives, and general communications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong creative eye, practical knowledge of photography and videography, and the ability to transform raw footage and images into polished, professional content. We are seeking a creative, talented, and technically capable NYSC Corp Member currently serving in Abuja to join our organization as a Videographer, Video Editor, and Photographer. Key Responsibilities: Videography: Cover organizational events, field activities, customer engagements, and other assignments as required. Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting, and audio quality. Operate cameras, smartphones, stabilizers, microphones, lighting equipment, and other relevant equipment. Capture high-quality video content for corporate activities, events, products, projects, and promotional purposes. Assist in planning and executing video shoots. Video Editing: Ensure finished videos meet the required quality and format for their intended use. Properly organize and archive raw footage and completed video projects. Add appropriate captions, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and other post-production elements. Edit raw footage into professional and engaging videos. Produce corporate, promotional, documentary, interview, event, and short-form video content. Photography: Capture professional photographs of products, staff, events, corporate activities, facilities, and other organizational engagements. Apply appropriate principles of composition, lighting, focus, and visual presentation. Edit and retouch photographs where necessary. Maintain an organized archive of photographic materials. Creative Content Support: Assist in developing concepts, storyboards, and visual approaches for assigned projects. Contribute creative ideas for visual content and promotional campaigns. Support other creative and media-related assignments as required. Work closely with the Marketing and Management teams to develop content that effectively communicates the organization's activities and brand. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Degree / HND / OND in Mass Communication, Film Production, Photography, Digital Media, Communications, or a related discipline is an advantage. Must be a currently serving NYSC Corp Member. Proficiency in at least one video editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe After Effects. Demonstrable practical experience: or competence in videography, photography, and video editing. Good understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, sound, and visual storytelling. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must be serving in Abuja, FCT. Knowledge of photography and image-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom is an advantage. Additional Advantage: Knowledge of social media content creation and management will be considered an added advantage but is not a core requirement of the position. Candidates who understand how to adapt photographs and videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or X may be given additional consideration.
