Our business scope: sales and renting of heavy trucks, light trucks, coaches, mine vehicles, special vehicles, engineering machinery (such as wheel loader, hoister, excavator, etc.); TBR tyres, spare parts sales; vehicle maintenance service. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Spare Parts Manager Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records. Ensure urgent parts requirements: are handled promptly to minimize vehicle downtime. Establish minimum and maximum stock levels for different parts. Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with procurement and management for replenishment. Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop spare parts store. Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or excess stock and provide recommendations to management. Verify part numbers, vehicle models, specifications, and quantities before issuing parts. Monitor parts consumption and identify unusual or excessive usage. Source spare parts from approved suppliers and ensure competitive pricing. Maintain accurate records of all spare parts received, issued, returned, and in stock. Ensure technicians receive the correct parts for each repair job. Maintain an updated database of suppliers, prices, lead times, and availability. Identify parts requirements: based on workshop demand and vehicle service schedules. Verify the quality, specifications, and compatibility of parts before acceptance. Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of all spare parts. Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts. Ensure parts issued to a repair order/job card are properly documented. Work closely with technicians and the Workshop Manager to determine parts required for repairs and maintenance. Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery.
